Summitly Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 October 2025

Welcome to Summitly — a community-powered event discovery platform that helps professionals in sport find and connect through real-world events.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the rules for using Summitly (the “Platform”) operated by We Are Sweet Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using Summitly, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

We Are Sweet Ltd (Company No. 7744174)

Registered address: 108 Icona Point, 58 Warton Rd, Stratford, London, E15 2LE

If you have any questions about these Terms, contact us at:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in via LinkedIn, or using any part of Summitly, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, if appropriate, notify you by email or within the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Summitly. By using the Platform, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use any data or materials you upload.

4. Your Account

You can sign in using your LinkedIn account. When you do, we collect limited LinkedIn information (your name and profile picture) to set up your Summitly profile.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • Ensuring any information you provide is accurate and kept up to date
  • All activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Platform.

5. Your Content

When you create a profile, join communities, RSVP to events, or otherwise interact on Summitly, you may provide content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving Summitly — including personalising your recommendations.

You must not post or share any content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or discriminatory
  • Infringes another person’s intellectual property rights
  • Contains unauthorised personal or confidential information

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

6. Platform Use

You agree to use Summitly only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform
  • Impersonate another person or organisation

You may not attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or misuse any part of the Platform’s software or data.

7. Events and Communities

Summitly aggregates events and enables community interaction.

We do not directly organise most of the events listed, and we are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of event information provided by third parties
  • Event cancellations, changes, or disputes between organisers and attendees
  • Any outcomes arising from attendance or participation

If you choose to attend an event or interact within a community, you do so at your own discretion and risk.

8. Personalised Recommendations

To enhance your experience, Summitly uses AI and Large Language Models (“LLMs”) to generate personalised event and community recommendations. By using Summitly, you consent to your profile and activity data being securely processed by these systems as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, branding, design, software, and content on Summitly (other than your User Content) belong to We Are Sweet Ltd or its partners. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Summitly is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from your use of the Platform or attendance at any event listed.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Platform. After termination, certain clauses (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
